good book and it came really fast
the one reason why I bough it was, I am going to do a 24 hours comic day soon and I wanted to some examples of other artist that did the same. also it has the rules for the 24 hour comic day there also. the book has some cool comics hard to believe they where done only in a 24 hour period. I would recommend this book to a comic artist because of the challenge that is presented is a tough one. for comic the common comic book reader I wouldn't recommend this book it is very graphic and has mature themes, not to say comic shouldn't have those aspects. I enjoyed the book and now I have the rules for a 24 comic day at my figure tips.

Old but good vfx tutorials
a long time ago I found a copy on the internet of this video series hoping for a higher-quality I bought these but the quality was about the same vhs quality the only Factor which changed was a few videos I had in the past would desync with audio but this is not the case for this on DVD. You can boost the contrast gamma and brightness in VLC player when playing this DVD to get a better experience. This information is a little out of date but I still applicable to any VFX artist today using Maya. The quality doesn't get much better from volume 1 to volume seven but the guy performing the tutorial is quite clear and what he's doing while he's doing it so is easy to follow along listening more so than watching exactly he's pressing.
