Getting Better, Janet!
1 of 1 found this helpful My grown daughters and I were avid Stephanie Plum fans. I turned them onto the series, and they really have enjoyed the books. However, the three of us decided that, by the 10th book, things were getting a bit stale. Stephanie and her cute little t-shirts and tight jeans, and the loony bail jumpers, yada yada yada. THIS book was better because it involved Ranger's own story. We need a bit more Ranger, a little less "hot Stephanie" and how everyone lusts after her. The story was more fun to read, and I found myself a bit more engaged. Evanovich cannot do this for EVERY Plum book hereafter, I realize, so I just don't know how she is going to keep this series going. And going. Maybe more Joe? Maybe more Rex? How about more contemporary types of crimes, like identity theft or Internet espionage? I dunno! DEFINITELY less Grandma Mazur, though! The old woman is starting to annoy me. :) Oh, and I think Lula has got to have some kind of awakening. I am tired of reading the same old lines out of Lula. I read the books and I am pretty much saying her next line before I even get to it! Sorry, Janet!

What Happened to This Product?
5 of 5 found this helpful I had used this foundation for years and always liked the finish. Not this batch. Either they changed the formula or my skin changed drastically, because it did not work this time around. It looked harsh and powdery, not luminescent, as it used to. It was my usual shade, but it came out dark. I ended up tossing it and switching to a different brand and formula (cream) altogether. Sad!

Good Workout!
I love this system. So far, I am still working out only to the Cardio Party DVD because it is 40 minutes long, as opposed to the others, which are 50 minutes and up. The workout is very fast and it does get your heart rate up if you are doing it right. It is fun, once you get the hang of it. Took me three tries, but now I sail through the routine. I have done it 8 days in a row and I am already seeing perceptible changes, so my guess is this will work if you work it. I like it so much that I ordered sets for both my daughters.
Only real complaint. The ladies shout out the next move a beat too early, so you might find yourself out of step. But once you get into it, you know when to change over. Oh, and they get a little bit annoying with all the patter, but that stops bugging you after a few days.
