Good Cap. Charging board is WAY OVER KILL. No need for all that. Simple resistor is all that is needed. So only 4 stars. Keeping it real.
1 of 1 found this helpful Feels well built. Nice weight. It says up to 1000 watts but that is most likely RMS. I didn't have any dimming problems but it definitely eliminated any distortion at max volume. Keeps the mids and highs sounding clean and crisp during bursts...especially with hard rock. I am pleased. Stinger has been known for good stuff for quite a long time now and this thing is well built and does what I needed it to do. The instructions and diagram for the charging bulb was vague at best and the charging board is overkill. A simple resistor would have worked just fine because that is what I used from another cap. Dear Stinger, no need to try and re-invent the wheel. A simple resistor will work just fine. Luckily I know what I'm doing. But pleased over-all

Works better than I expected
Good for all sorts of various signaling needs. I think it says good for up to 20 meters but it definitely works through several walls as well so a clear shot may work further. Good product. Good value.

Red and Black wires are reversed. No can "just plug and play". Needs modification.
1 of 1 found this helpful Polarity is reversed. I was able to pull the pins and rectify the factory mistake but blew a passive crossover before discovering the reversed wires. Almost ALL speakers need to be run in proper polarity/phase. This shouldn't be rocket science.
