Serously deformed battery and a grey market camera.

The battery was defective in that it had a seriously deformed shape, and therefore could not be inserted into the camera. I had no reasonable way of testing the camera. The single star is to emphasize that there should be some quality control of what is sent out. The battery is NOT an accessory; it is an essential component of the camera. Latrer I learned that it was a grey market camera, with no warranty by Canon.
