By far the best historical novel ever written
The Patrick O Brian series of 20 novels+ one unfinished story are a valuable look at the Napoleonic wars Royal Navy, a friendship between two men and well developed characters. It is read and reread there are societies involved in this story. There are several narrators .Patrick Tull is by far the best. Simon Vance is second and reads this event.
