Sweet upgrade!
This processor runs a little hotter than the i3 that it replaced but wow what an improvement. I replaced a core i3 in my Lenovo L520 laptop with this chip. Quad core with hyper threading is helpful when using photoshop and auto cad. This chip was bought as a means to upgrade a nice but older laptop to keep it viable. The most impactful upgrade I did was adding an SSD, then the i7, lastly bumping the memory up to 8 gigs. For under $200 I was able to do all 3 upgrades and now I have added a couple more years of life to my laptop.

Good value at the price
Very happy with this processor. I had an older system that I decided to upgrade, so out went the dual core and in went the quad core. Huge upgrade!
