a very average phone with small screen and battery issues
3 of 3 found this helpful I should have listened to Consumer Reports but like others I drank the Apple Koolaid. This phone is average at best. The screen is small (3.5"), texting is a pain due to the small keyboard. The battery life is average most days but some days the battery drains really fast. Apple admits they have a battery issue and is working on a second patch (the first patch did not solve the issue). Another issue is the poor glass. Yes it is Gorilla glass but is so thin the glass is very likely to break. Other phones such as the Samsung Galaxy which have much larger screens have Gorilla glass but are much more durable (I assume they are thicker glass?- see YouTube 4S vs Galaxy drop tests comparison- an eye opener how bad this iPhone glass really is). I did not realize the glass issue untill I started asking others who own the phone. Several had broken their glass...and Apple charges a fortune to replace ($150 I was told). Reception and call clarity seem to be fine but no better than the Blackberry I have for my business phone. All in all a very average phone. I suspect Apple realizes this and the new 5 sries phone will have a 4.5" screen like their competitors, better glass etc....its the Apple way.

A beast in a good way
this belt sander is a beast. Powerful, balanced and a joy to use. Just sanded my maple flooring that was installed and the beast never overheated even after continuous use for hours.. I also have a 40 year old Makita 3 x 21 sander that still works great but this is definitely more powerful

Baldwin makes good quality locks
Baldwin makes good quality products. I purchased the oil rubbed bronze. The first step for a worn look is take WD40 and a scotch btite red pad and rub the oil into the visible areas of the lock/knob. It makes a huge visual difference. One drawback about Baldwin is they are a lot more difficult to install than say a tryical less expensive lock...but worth the extra time.
