It Wouldn't be Heaven without Animals
2 of 2 found this helpful This little book, which can be finished in a few hours, is by a man who doesn't know all that much about animals but likes them. It is probably appreciated most by those with a religious bent (Christian-Catholic).
Animals are a hugely important part of my life and when I lost my dog Lucy a few years back, I wanted to die myself, which had not happened when other animals died over the course of the last 70 years. As a child going to Sunday school, my worst fear was leaving my animals.
In the end, the book comes to the same conclusion as the answer to a 7-year-old's tear-stained question to her mother, "Do animals go to heaven?"
The answer, from both the author and my mother: How could it be Heaven without them? I dearly hope it's true.
