Well worth it!
I’m a life long player at a professional level. I have always used Kramers and a Les Paul. I always wanted a solid body Charvel so took the puunge. The initial setup involved re stringing to my standard 9-42’s, then the adjustment on the floyd to accomodate. I had to stick a shim under the neck to get the action low enough and that’s about it. I usually swap pickups out but the 59 in the neck is my go to anyhow. The bridge one is comparable to the X2N that I usually use so I’m leaving it alone. So bone stock and I love it! The neck is perfect for me. Kind of flat and wide. The tone is great and it’s comfortable to play. Stays in tune. The sound is versatile from screaming 80’s to country rock. Similar to a les paul. I highly recommend :)

Perfect replacement
