Faulty product
This pen was certainly inexpensive for the round dozen I received. I now know why. Though it writes extremely smoothly and has the 1.2 mm point I wanted, the ink flow is very erratic, leaving little blobs along the way. The manufacture quality is simply inferior and only suitable for someone who doesn't care about neat, clean, even ink flow from a pen. I was taking a chance—the main reason being that I was looking for a blue 1.2 mm tip. Very hard to find. Foray used to have them but only black can be had these days. No complaint about eBay; it's a wonderful web site that I use regularly.
