SOLID knife with some flaws
This is a SOLID knife. It’s built like a crowbar. It was reasonably sharp out the box. It was very easy to bring it to a convex razor edge in just a few minutes. I have yet to determine if it will hold an edge for long. I always have a small field sharpener with me when camping/hiking to keep it in top shape. I am positive that this will take a beating and last me a long time. It does have some flaws. I am not a big fan of the black paint/coating on this blade. I may remove that. But, the Biggest gripe is that I don’t like the handles... at all. The grip is slippery, which could be a major problem out in the field. The handle scales can be replaced easily enough. Just disappointing that it doesn't come from the factory with a better grip.
