Well done for F-Toys G4M version!
This model was very easy to put together and with a simple decal application, it takes about 15 minutes. It is larger than the Cafereo Big Bird 1/144 version and equal in size to the IXO version, which for a plastic model, is pretty good. This is a nice model and you can't go wrong for the price.

Nice Mania kit with minor flaws
This is an older kit that gives you option to build B5N1 and a B5N2, or two B5N2's. The only draw back, which you can find on the later Hasegawa kits as well, is the very short shaft to attach the propeller. It's just long enough to leg your propeller hang on like a cat on a window. Yoh will have to build one yourself in order for the shaft to be long enough. I have three Hasegawa versions, all having this issue. Otherwise, this is a nice kit to acquire. Other thing of notes, the decals. I have purchased five of these kits and TBE condition has varied on every single one. One was so bad, I threw it away. Three are in such great condition, they look brand new. The only other kit I would say is better is the one from Air fix for both the B5N1 and B5N2.

One of the worst kits ever released by anyone
I purchased two of these kits, both released by the same company, one a Ki-27a and the other a Ki-27b. Where to begin on this beast? Fitting is bad, large gaps, poor construction, lousy directions, and poor design. I spent 3 1/2 hours trying to get this monstrosity to fit together. Fixed one thing, something fell off. Fixed that then something else fell off or broke. I have to say, it's only the third model kit I ended up throwing away of the 35 I worked on this summer. The other two throw aways are the other Ki-27 (which joined the aforementioned heap of crap from ICM) and a Aichi Seiran (some limited release kit, the first I tried to build) I tried to put together 2 years ago. If you want to build a decent version of this plane, go with Hasegawa. I can't speak for the RS models release. If you buy it, be ready to be disappointed. Don't let the cheap price fool you either, it's not worth it!
