Legere Reeds Alto Saxophone Reed Strength 2

Legere Alto 2 stiffer than expected
The alto saxophone Legere #2 (and 2.5) were significantly stiffer than expected. I normally play on a 2.5 reed so thought I'd get something slightly lower in strength, thinking it would be easier to play on, but I'm finding even the 2.0 is harder to play than the 2.5 wood version. I haven't given up on Legere yet, as I'll try getting a 1.75 to see how that works.
