Have improved cell signal, travel in RV and set up with a tripod, works most of the time.

The set up is important, find the direction you need to point the external antenna, have separation between external an internal antenna, improves cell signal considerably. You need to have patience/persistence and not give up, mostly need a clear line of sight to cell towers, thick foliage will impede signal, height would help, ours is no more than 12ft from ground, live in Pioneer at least six miles from a tower. For the cost it is well worth it, would recommend.
