Added Convenience is Worthwhile!
The cradle adds convenience, when compared to the other chargers available. The original charger base is reminiscent of my old wireless Uniden 900 Mhz. The other, less expensive chargers require that you remove the battery each time you want to charge the battery. If you are using the remote consistently, it gets tedious. Highly recommend getting this original charger base, even if you have the other style. You can get an additional battery, and always have one ready to go, in case you forget to place the remote on the cradle regularly.

Very original
One of my favorite original Christmas albums with elements of traditional songs blended in to offer a sense of a connection between Christmases past and present. The production and recordings are first rate (as expected from JG). If you are prone to throw in a Christmas CD from time to time, like I am, this will be one that you'll likely want to play in the "off season". Some others that I listen to year round include: James Taylor at Christmas, Sarah McLachlan Wintersong, Harry Connick Jr. When My Heart Finds Christmas, Russ Taff A Christmas Song (possibly my all-time favorite Christmas), Josh Groban - Noel and Bebe & CeCe Winans - First Christmas.
Point is, this Jason Gray CD is very original, and that good. He's in very good company.
