This RAM chip works wonderfully!
The item arrived quickly, and worked as expected. In fact, I was able to install it in one slot and have a 2gb chip in the other slot and it worked fine. I always thought I had to have the same sized chip in both slots, but I guess I don't. This functionality is probably due to my computer's MB and possibly my Linux OS rather than to the RAM chip, but it was an unexpected plus, which I'm quite happy about.
