Wireless feature gimped by software updates
3 of 5 found this helpful Before I get to the meat of it, this mouse is great when it's just wired. Feels great in the hand, the thumb buttons rest right in the center of my thumb, and has enough weight to have some push back, but light enough to not feel like a brick on my desk.
Wireless though, Razer has shot themselves in the foot over the years with it's Synapse updates. There was one update from years ago that messed up the firmware of the mouse to have the DPI reset and never save custom settings when in wireless mode. It will be stuck in what seems to be 400 DPI and it's awful. I wanted to use this mouse for both wired and wireless, but Razer just came in and said nope. I would just go for the Mamba Tournament Edition, save a lot of money for a hard wired version of the same design.
