Poe-esque Comedies
"The Comedy of Terrors" storyline is in the style of Poe, with Vincent Price in a rare comedic role, and the script abounds with both overt and subtle one-liners throughout from the entire cast.
"The Raven" has comedic moments and is a good pairing that picks-up the tale where the poem ends, with Boris Karloff as the superlative bad guy with a droll sense of wordplay.
The prolific master storyteller Richard Matheson wrote both scripts.
