Not bad, but not so great for generators

Unit does help to stabilise voltage but it does not eliminate surges. I have a new 9000 watt generator. Sudden voltage/amperage demands cause some surge fluctuations that are not completely damped by the Tripp unit. It would have been nice to have the range of capability I.e. 110-125 or 100-130 published in the specs. I expected the unit to have some limitations but was hoping it had a wider range of control. If the needs a constant 120 v stable input it should have said exactly what it "conditions.
