Love this hair mask
A little background on my hair - I am asian and had black/dark brown virgin hair until I have recently lightened/bleached it for about 1 year now (3 balayage sessions so far) and am still continuing to bleach in the future. My hair was a little dry to begin with because my hair is pretty thin, gets oily quick and I tend to use hot water in the shower. I use to wash my hair everyday due to that reason but I have been trying to train my hair to produce less oil by using dry shampoo and wash my hair about twice a week. Ive tried many different conditioners/hair masks but they never gave me enough moisture to keep my hair shiny or improve the texture until my hair colourist recommended me this hair mask. I have been using the hair mask as a conditioner for about 2 months.. at first it didnt make such a big difference but I was persistent and kept using the mask. I felt the hair mask was giving my hair some shine back but didnt improve the texture much until I starting using a wet brush in the shower after I've rinsed out the mask and rinsed my hair with cool water. The first time I did that, my hair was as straight as if I've straightened it after I let my hair air dry! I was so shocked.. I kept up this regime and found that this was the best combo for me and now my hair is soft and shiny!! I believe rinsing your hair with cold water after getting out of the shower helped the hair mask keep my frizzy hair manageable but I seriously cant believe how silky my hair feels.. I will be repurchasing when I run out. My sisters both use this hair mask and have noticed that their hair is slowly healing.
