Already had the 36, so the 45 was a must. Very stout keiryu rod, works great for nymphing and jigging big weighted flies.

I now own 4 of the kiyose line of keiryu rods. I am a huge fan. They are a light, well balanced and versatile rods. I use the 4.3 meter rods for nymphing, keiryu/bait fishing, and even dry/wet fly fishing. I am amazed how well it casts a #3.5 level line and a weightless fly. They seem well built, well designed, and stylish. With a very nice 7:3 medium flex, smaller fish are fun to catch, and big fish are still catchable. I highly recommend these for a tenkara/ small keiryu rod.
