A gem of early Czech cinema
This is a wonderful gem of early Czech cinematography. It is a story of an orphan, his dog, a dogcatcher, and a few other people. The film is in Czech language and there are subtitles, also in Czech. However, the acting is so vivid and straightforward, that one can probably follow it and enjoy it even without any background in Slavic languages, even though that would be useful.
The children and dogs are priceless!!!

Astounding singer
Sakamoto Fuyumi is a remarkable singer who transcends genres and cultures. This CD contains songs in the Enka style, based on traditional Japanese music and singing. There are many old favorites in Fuyumi-san's inimitable rendition, which somehow manages to add tremendous emotional depth to each song. If you like Enka, this needs no introduction. If you have never been exposed to this type of music, this may be the way to try it.

Simple and effective
1 of 1 found this helpful This de-shedding tool is easy to hold and to slide through the pet's hair. It is very effective in snagging the soft undercoat and removing the loose hair. There is no chance of injuring the pet with the prongs. It holds a fairly large clump of fur, obviating the need to keep removing it from the comb. There are no moving parts, no batteries, nothing to go wrong.
I removed a large plastic shopping bag of winter undercoat from a small fox terrier in one day without any stress to my dog or myself. I can highly recommend this product.
