Cheap China junk
0 of 1 found this helpful I was hopeful but not surprised. Most systems similar to this that are of good quality cost much much more. I was really hoping this would work out but there is just no way. Major hot, squealing mic no matter the volume unless it is ALL the way down which of cores is pointless. Shut the transmitter off and the loud racket still continued. I changed to a different mic, tried moving around and getting pretty far back, no combination I tried could resolve the extremely hot mic unless the volume was all the way down. In which case talking loud would be more effective. Unfortunately, I have to submit a return and warn others to avoid this product.

Impressive forge!
1 of 1 found this helpful All parts were in great shape and was very quick and easy to set up. This forge gets very hot and it does it very quick. I forged a set of blacksmith tongs on the first evening and it only took a couple minutes to get the 1/2" bar yellow. Tonight I forge welded a half pound damascus billet and again, this forge brought the temperature up very quick. I am very impressed with how well it works, how hot it gets and how quickly it warms up. This was absolutely worth it. If you are thinking about buying a forge, buy from Devils Forge. They are good

Not a good knock off from Solong
Inspecting the Solong knock off, the excenters are not precise and in fact one wont even work. The holes are drilled at an angle so when it sits on the motor the excenters are not even flush. I've seen reviews of these prodigy knock offs and some are almost identical to the original. This is not one of them. I was going to do a touch up on one of my existing tattoos and I was going to use this knock off to see how it works. I was using a 5RS needle and this machine didn't have the power to even break through the skin without sitting in one spot and drilling. I had to break out one of my trusty coil machines. It may work decent as a liner only but I'll have to buy a short stroke excenter to do so because the stroke that came on the machine is far too long and the short stroke is the one that the machine won't run on. I know there is a very good knock off out there of the prodigy...just don't buy it from solong. His/her knock offs are not up to snuff. This particular knock off will require a motor change, excenter replacement just to get it running good. Also the clip cord connection is not drilled to size. I had to widen the holes a bit so my clip cord would fit in. Just a cheaply put together piece. But for $16...it wasn't unexpected...I was just hoping it was one of those "well made" knock offs
