Must have for comfort but has its faults.
0 of 2 found this helpful I would agree with the other reviews on the "must have" factor of this magazine. If you have a PF9, you need one of these extended magazines for a nice full grip but the excitement stops there. If you're purchasing this for the extra round capacity then stop where you're at. I loaded mine up with the standard 7 with no issues and went to load the 8th and it was a battle. I know, it's a new spring so it just needs to be broke in right? After a little fighting I got it in and loaded it into the PF9. The only problem is it wouldn't load. There needs to be a tad bit of spring give in order to load the magazine and with the 8th round it's so tight it just won't go. I removed the 8th round and it worked fine. So you can do a 7+1 like the normal magazine but that defeats the porpoise if you're going for the extra round. I was thinking maybe the spring wasn't installed correctly but I couldn't get the bottom plate off no matter how hard I tried to inspect. That seems to be another issue the magazine has and Kel-Tec requests to have it sent in. Not worth my time, it's great for the grip and that's it. Kel-Tec has a great look, feel and price but I think they must skip the details and quality control.
