One bad capacitor.
The wall adapter doesn't work correctly and emits a loud hum through both speakers. Probably a bad cap in the power supply. We had to use the battery option to be able to speak to each other.

"Lightweight with great fetures"
This here part perfectly fit and replaced the broke one in our RV power panel. The part is new, so it fits as it should. One would expect a part of this caliber to be of a lower quality but not so, it is divine.
If a person is looking to replace this part in their outdated 2004 Thor toy hauler power panel, they should certainly look at this as it fits.
Wait, this was the last one. Sorry, please find one at another vendors' booth. Have a nice day :-)

easy installation?
Not so easy as we have airbags on the rear axle. I still cannot believe that the only thing that holds these side brackets to the frame are one 5/8" carriage bolt and a 1/2" U bolt... Other than that we have 2 other 3/8" bolts for the bag brackets which pass through those brackets and frame.
I guess some engineer ran the numbers and ok'd the design.
Seems to work fine and towed our new 42' 5th wheel home last weekend.
Recap: If you have airbags on the rear axle expect a few more hour's work. 10 bolts hold rails to frame brackets. "3" bolts per side hold frame brackets to frame. No logic here folks.
