Brilliant for plastic pipe threads
When the usual teflon tape didn't stop the leaks in my plastic pipe joins I went hunting for a solution and came across a recommendation for Loctite 5331. I was a little bit sceptical but thought I'd give it a try. It's brilliant. It's quite thick but easy to apply. Followed the instructions for drying/curing time before putting it under pressure and the result was perfect. No leaks at all. Wish I'd known about it years ago. It's not exactly cheap but it's a great product for the specific purpose.
