Well worth the effort for my uses.
I am using this unit as a trainer. It is used and some of the plastic parts are fragile and have broken. But the unit still works. After finding the correct cable and the software needed I was able to connect to the PLC successfully.

Used HX4705 recent purchase
This PDA is a replacement to my Toshiba E750 which died beyond recovery.
Having used the HX4705 for a few weeks I can say it is a great unit with the faster processor, larger and higher resolutions screen. The battery life has been very good.
Some of the HP applications are overkill for my needs. All of my previously purchased apps have loaded and are working without a problem.
The screen rotation is not a feature that I care for. Some apps do not like it and it does not add to my experience. I prefer the stylus on the screen instead of the touch pad for navigation.
I like the unit. I hope to use it for several years.
