The definitive Nintendo DS experience
The DSi is timeless, plays a large catalogue of fantastic games, and is good for any person who enjoys video games to any extent. From casual simulations of real life table games like Clubhouse Games to expansive and fun RPGs like Mario & Luigi, you can't go wrong with a DS. The DSi XL is just a bigger version of all that; beautiful viewing angle and crisp visuals make for the definitive Nintendo DS experience. My only minor gripe would be the subpar sound quality compared to other models of DS that I've tried, but every DS has its quirk. You don't need to buy a big, fancy, expensive modern console to gift hours of joy and investment and wonder from a video game console. The Nintendo DSi XL does it all and does it remarkably well, even all these 13 years later (as of writing this review).
