Not used as a substitute but is a good when used in conjunction prescription medication.
1 of 1 found this helpful Husband has congestive heart failure and Stage 3 kidney failure. It is always and challenge to keep water retention in balance without causing more damage to the kidneys because of prescription pills, We us water away as a supplement to help keep things in check.
