The Canon Vixia HV-40 is an amazing camcorder for the buck.
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm delighted with the HV-40. The tape technology is a little harder to deal with than the flash/SD. However it's an amazing, versatile camcorder, with lots of options for lens accessories, and a dizzying array of menu options. The bottom line is: for not very much money, you can make gorgeous, hi-def movies. Learning curve is formidable, but every time I use this great little camcorder, I learn something new.

Great little Blu-Ray player for a low-price,
This terrific little Blu-Ray player has exceeded my expectations. I have slow, wireless internet. By plugging a long $3.00 ethernet cable from my router, I am able to stream Netflix much more reliably than on my wireless laptop. The USB port is great for slideshows and videos from my point-and-shoot camera. Regular DVD's look amazing compared to my old player. The menus are intuitive, as is the included remote. I got my unit for less than $35. That's just a little more than a regular DVD player. The difference is astonishing!

Discreet EDC spring-assist Kershaw Portal...Great value and features for a budget-friendly price.
2 of 2 found this helpful The Kershaw Portal 8600 is a terrific, medium-sized, budget-friendly pocket knife. The textured glass infused nylon grips have a great texture and feel good and solid in both left and right hand. The spring-assist opening action is crisp and fast. The blade lock can be easily released using the thumb of either hand. I like the stone-washed finish drop-point blade because it's neither reflective nor flashy. The sturdy clip has rounded edges and can be easily attached to either side of the knife. This is a big plus for left-handed folks. The clip's black finish allows for discreet carry. Best of all, this knife comes with a Lifetime Warranty! At less than $20 "out the door", I plan to buy more Kershaw Portal knives as gifts. Great value for the money!
