Don't recall seeing origin of manufacture anywhere, fits my need as a senior citizen.

Simple plug in with "gain" knob no instruction manual or suggestions. Perhaps best for experienced persons in its use.

Good for Sony would hate to see recorders go Bye-bye
I've owned this product before like the ease of usage for an old DVD recorder unit for the price.My only comparison of DVD recorders is the Medion which I don't think is made anymore.
