Samsung DA41-00684A ASSEMBLY PCB MAIN;AW3-PJT AS NEW ORIGINAL

Erratic fridge failure/behavior cure
After finding little accurate diagnostic info online or by phone directly with samsung. Through testing and and part replacement I deduced the main control board was the culprit in my rf4287habp/xaa model refrigerator problems. Initially the fridge did not provide an error code. After testing the temp and defrost switches, all working fine, I swapped out the front control panel-no change. Then after changing the overload protection relay it finally provided an error code. Compressor/condenser fan failure. Removed the fan and tested it-no problem with the fan. Concluded the issue must be the main board. Installed new board refrigerator works as new.

Exact replacement
Bought the standard flow model. Fit the housing. The power plug was a match. Only difficult part (not counting accessing the assembly) was removing old pump, plastic tabs seem likely easy to snap. Attached strainer. Re-used rubber bumper on bottom of old pump, snapped plastic retainer on... pump works flawlessly.
Samsung DA41-00692A ASSEMBLY CONTROL BOARD KIT LED AW3 - PJT NEW ORIGINAL

Exact match
This control panel board seems identical to the old original piece. There seems to be little troubleshooting information available for Samsung refrigerators. My fridge did not display any codes at start up or if put in self diagnostic mode. No obvious issues like frosted panels or doors or leaks. Just random thaws. So I purchased parts with common and not so common incidence of failure. Then I started disassembly and troubleshooting individual pieces. Temp sensors-good, defrost switches-good, compressor/condenser fan running, compressor running. Then the control panel became unresponsive, so I swapped it out. The new panel worked but did not fix the failure to cool issue. So next came the overload protection switch, swapped in a new one and the next morning the fridge shut down again,BUT this time it threw a code! The board showed comp/condenser fan failure. Tested the fan-runs fine on 12volt. So although the Samsung tech and online appliance sites said main control board was unlikely the issue, it turned out to be exactly that. Review of parts-bay main board to follow...
