1982 GL 1100 starter motor
I was quite skeptical with instructions for removal & installation of the starter....two hours total?? My first try and it took me 55 minutes to remove battery cable, three bolts at the starter, foot board, and gear shifter. Another 15 to reinstall -all- and reconnect the battery cable. Simple, easy and perfect fit, on the '83 Wing. I hear later models and the GL1200 are more complicated. I got what I wanted at an excellent price, and terrific service. Delivered a day earlier than promised. The assembly requires only an alignment of the shaft splines which only takes a small effort and attention to alignment of the gear to be sure of center. Excellent job. It did not start when I tried. Now to trouble shoot to see if it's the starter or something else. Solenoid is OK. Switch seems to be OK. Looking for a loose ground connection and/or anything else that comes to mind.

The Good, the Bad, the Best
I bought a starter from another dealer, 4 returns for un-operatable starter. I received my refund, and sent to you for a starter GL11000. After installation, it turned the engine first try and has worked since then. I did not send a review till I was sure it would continue. Here's hoping. I also picked up the 1 yr extension, as late in this years riding time, I probably won't ride much till next spring. The bad I returned to them, the good and best I kept, yours. Thanks for the quality.
