Great Upgrade for 2006 Mac Pro (1,1)
2 of 2 found this helpful CPU upgrade went well, I can actually use it to game with Windows now (old dual cores barely ran games and caused massive lag in rainbow six siege). Installation was Abit of a pain, but that's by Apple's design. Temps are good, system seems stable, and it's a definite noticeable difference in day-to-day tasks. If I ever get another '06 Mac pro, I'd definitely upgrade to these CPU's immediately.
