Truly new, and working great.
The remote itself functions as if it came right out of the box the TV was shipped in. Voice controls work great, all the buttons work, and every button is labeled properly for the model of TV remote this controller replaced. No cosmetic damage what so ever, brand new is a justified tagline. Even the product label, under the remote's battery cover, is the same.
