Useful, inexpensive shaving kit
Bought a second kit so that our teen son could have a couple new blades. He hasn't used the foil part as of yet, just some of the smaller blades. Now he also has some spare parts! He's been using the shaver for about 1-1/2 years, and likes it.

Finally, a feeder that discourages sparrows!
It took a long time, but we finally got some goldfinches to start visiting the feeder. We only site them a couple times/week, but this might have to do with the huge number of sparrows we have hanging around. Anyway, the feeder has accomplished what we wanted it to-- a food source that wouldn't be overrun with sparrows. There are some bold sparrows who infrequently try to eat from this feeder, but they are in the minority, have a hard time, and eventually give up. While I wish we had more goldfinches coming by, we do have a small family of them which we observe several times/week. Mission accomplished!
