Quality shows

Great workmanship, real cork handle. Pure power, yet feather light. Tossed and 1/1/4 oz bait with ease. Mini guides, but I'm going to run straight braid, so that isn't a problem for me. The reel seat allows for direct contact with the blank and is very comfortable The ferrule is odd in that the tip is the male section, but it doesn't affect the action or feel at all. Taks about 30 seconds to get used to.

Well made

These covers are absolutely great. Thick padding, well constructed, and they look good. They put 5000 series Ambassadeur-sized reels in an absolute cocoon and do almost as well with a 6000 series. They are just a tad too narrow for a perfect fit on a 6000 series, but are still very usable. They are more portective than the ABU branded covers. My favorite feature is that strap that goes under the reel. I use it as part of how I transport and store two piece rods with the reels mounted. I use a rubber band or velcro strap at tip and butt, tied in at the reel seat with this cover, and nothing moves. I'll be getting more of them.
