Too loud for my living room
I replaced a Delta fan in the power supply of an NVR security system in my living room that was too loud with a whine noise that I could hear 25' from it. This Delta fan was a little quieter but still had a noticeable whine that I could hear 25' away, therefore making it still unacceptable. I then bought a Sunon fan that is even quieter. I can still hear that fan about 15' away but it's acceptable. It doesn't have that whine to it. Both replacement fans I tried run at a lower rpm and moves less air than the original fan but they still provided adequate air flow.
