End result not as expected or desired.
1 of 1 found this helpful Product is as pictured and described however, after my first use, the product does not function as I anticipated. The pressure bar on the press is at one end only - not across the entire press. No instructions were included so I watched some youtube videos for directions. Glad I did as the suggestion to use waxed paper on the bottom and top of the dough was great. The fact that the pressure bar actually only applies pressure at one end and not across the entire unit, meant that the tortilla flattened unevenly. In order to get any increase in size, I had to open the unit and turn the waxed paper/dough and repress. I never got the dough as large as the unit - regardless of how much dough I used. Even after pressing, turning, repressing, returning, etc. I still ended up with uneven thicknesses around the tortilla. I will try this again and see if there is a technique I may have missed, but the end result is not as expected. Good thing the pricing was low as I don't feel like it was a total waste. My resulting "street taco" size tortillas are still edible and have a more circular shape than when I tried to roll out by hand.
