Not Nearly as Big as Burke's "Connections"
0 of 1 found this helpful Fast paced visual affects, accompanied by needlessly loud sound affects, all to illustrate some very basic and very obvious cause and effect relationships which shaped the history of the human race and its' current day status. Each twenty-two minute segment is obviously written and choreographed for the ADD crowd. Relies heavily on the shallow dogma of popular science and popular history, as it leap frogs from one Big event to another with almost no attention to the details which led to those events. Frequently repetitious, often reducing the source of all events to the Big Bang.....Really?! A mildly educational series requiring only your passing attention while you concentrate on your TV dinner.

Easiest Method for Putting on Compression Socks and Extends the Useful Elasticity of the Fabric
Trying to put on compression socks by hand is difficult, time consuming and could possibly damage the elasticity of the sock. When putting on compression socks manually, the most natural tendency is to roll-up the sock before putting it on, and that, in time, overstretches the fabric and ruins the compression. With this simple device, the sock goes on your foot in seconds and without damaging the fabric's elasticity.

Better than a sleeping pill. Silly and Unbelievable.
2 of 4 found this helpful Better than a sleeping pill. I knew this wasn't going to be an action film, but come on, I nodded off at least 3 times. First, there was no story development so you couldn't understand why a group of seasoned citizens would leave their safe cushy civilian jobs in the art world to willing go into WWII combat zones to retrieve artworks. This motley crew of near-geriatric status are forced to endure US Army basic training and upon completion emerge with a range of ranks from colonel to private. Imagine a middle aged private with manicured nails and styled hair....War is Hell!!! The movie goes from worse to worser as our intrepid soldier wannabes' receive no cooperation from combat field commanders, must equip themselves using German captured goodies, and then somehow find these precious paintings and sculptures with almost no idea of where the Germans hid them, and that's the first half of the movie. In the second half, if you're still awake, they manage to accomplish most of their mission, operating on a shoestring budget, lots and lots and lots of luck and extreme applications of artistic license used to suspend reality especially when transporting multi-ton sculptures and thousand of paintings with just two trucks and a handful of tired old artists. WOW! Unbelievable...really!!!
