Great railroad passenger service - great book.
Mr. Stout has produced another balanced and well researched book on a particularly favorite railroad of mine - The Southern Pacific. The S.P passenger service is now just a memory but if refreshment is in order, here is a great place to start. Great name trains like "The Morning Daylight," "The Lark," "The Cascade," and the pride of the fleet, "The Sunset Limited" are all present and accounted for. Book quality is first rate with spectacular color photos through out. In short, this volume will make a most welcome addition to any fan of classic American passenger service.
