Another poor example of the craft from Master Lock
Master Lock have a reputation for producing low quality locks at high volume, and the Excell is no exception. No matter what the manufacturer says, nobody should ever use I've of these to secure anything of value. They can be raked open in seconds and picked in less than a minute, on average.
A really poor lock that retails for much more than it's worth.

Great value winter warmer
Great for winter, especially for an older dog with joints that stiffen up in colder weather. No need to plug it in, uses your dog's own body heat to keep them warm.

Does not live up to Master Lock's self-assessed security rating of 10
Seller was excellent, so this is no knock on them, but this lock is typical of Master Lock's products: way to easy to pick, especially given Master Lock have given it a security rating of 10. It takes less than a minute to pick, so although it might be difficult to cut the shackle, and it can't be shimmed due to its dual ball bearing locking mechanism, the quality of the lock itself is poor.
