No Good For 2008 R56
Don’t recommend this tensioner. I would only use it in an emergency. It isn’t heavy duty or long enough for a worn chain. Had to put my old tensioner back on (after sanding ridges off the plunger) to quiet the chain down.

Exact Replacement
These are made in Italy, shipped from Germany, and are exactly like the original heated grips that came on my 2001 R1150GS. It would be impossible to tell the difference in a side by side comparison. Installation with alcohol was easy and they work great.
