Without pliers the bands are useless. I bought the cheap Chinese plyers and tossed them. The Sportsman's have very little clearance for the bands crimped head. Instead I used stainless steel ZIP ties with the tightening tool. They are tighter and stronger than the "approved" method and give ample hub clearance. So, just buy quality boots and long steel zip ties with the tool. If you cant find long zips, hook 2 together.

Excellent 12V PSU

Running good nonstop for 1.5 weeks powering my Charsoon battery charger on my personell Toyota hybrid battery reconditioning project. Very heavy duty, fan sounds like a jet engine, but that is good and why these PSU's will last forever. Details are all over the web on how to modify this Proliant DL580 to produce 12V at 45+ amps.
