Impresive looks. Unresistant to the Weather.
Retro looks. Personally , I find them more impressive when the backings removed before applying : the falsity of their being vents is circumvented , the insubstantial paper shan't exist to be eventually destroyed by the weather, and, you still have the decoration : but, they are insubstantial, and have variable finish quality, which is apparent if more than one packet is bought. I removed them from that bonnet , where they'd decayed after just a few months, and think they look rather nice on the inside of the doors. Try to buy chrome, ( preferably triple-plated) , or stainless steel , instead , for the outside; especially so if your vehicle's ungaraged , as they don't resist weather, nor , also , cleaners like Simonize, which was an experimental mistake of mine.

All that We Shall Ever Know.
No more comprehensive compilation could possibly be found of Haley's earliest sides.
I read somewhere that it took years of research , and , though the finished product no doubt is the epitome of achievement , as with any Creation , no one but the Compilers could possibly know what I hope was the pleasurable , but doubtless arduous , hours of research from which it was born.
Unless someone is prepared to give some years of their own life to another attempt , ( which only newly discovered recordings should warrant ) , I think these five CD's , and the large book it includes , shall probably have to satisfy connosieurs' aching longings for the irretrievably lost times , forever. Though they are loved so much , nothing ever could , and the longing shall only become the stronger , as we move further away , into the 21st. Century , with fewer and fewer of the Artists left, calling out to them , as we do , with ever aching hearts, forever facing the mental pictures of times in which we never lived.
