Good camera for the price, but not perfect
The best part of this camera is it's price. I was looking for something inexpensive to take abroad that wouldn't kill me if it were damaged or stolen, and this camera was a good buy at $62. The downsides are fairly short battery life- rechargeable are a must for this camera. Video quality is very, very poor, despite the claim of HD. The "optical viewfinder" is really just a teeny screen that you view through an eyepiece, so you can't take a quick look at your frame and decide if an image is worth taking... the camera must be powered up for this to work, of course. I don't think about it, but I frequently will look through my DSLR eyepiece to look for a possible picture, and this camera doesn't allow that. But again, it's very inexpensive and takes pretty good images. Maximum zoom isn't that great, but most shots are wide to mid-zoom, so no problem there.

Works as expected... smells bad, darkens silver.
