Made of cheap plastic

Toro continues to make this trailing shield out of cheap plastic that splits after about 20 hours of use. I’ve replaced it 3 times in 2 years and the cost keeps going up. There’s a YouTube video where a guy makes his own because the OEM SHIELD KEEPS SPLITTING .
