OK for first tour
I put a set of Marathon Plus Touring tires on my mountain bike and a set of Marathon Mondial tires on my wifes mountain bike for the Pacific Coast highway tour. They have almost the same tread pattern but the Mondial tire without the extra thickness of the Plus tire, is lighter. After 1800 miles the Mondial tires had little wear and no flats. I had one flat on the"flatless" Plus tires and also little wear. Take this as one data point. I don't have enough miles on the tires to make any broad statement as to the quality. Will give it 4 stars until then.

Good quality.
Good quality, fit perfectly and stopped the clunking noise in my minivan.

Doesn't leak.
I installed in on my 1981 KD80. It doesn't leak. I hope it lasts 38 years like the original. I'll try to update this in year 2058!!
