Perfect fit
This is identical to the connector on my electric mower. Once you realize that the color indicates the connector keying it all makes sense.

Works perfectly
I have a couple of old CueCats from back in the days when they were first released. I even used them with non-CueCat software on my old PC. But those has PS2 connectors, and my current computer doesn't have PS2 connectors. I scoured the web and everyone has discovered that simple PS2-USB adapters don't work with the CueCat. There's a hint that some higher end adapters *might* work, but why bother? The price on this USB CuseCat is so reasonable it would be silly to gamble on another adapter that costs about the same.
When I got my new USB CueCat I scanned over 100 music CD's, in their jewel boxes. I only met one I couldn't scan, and I think I had a bright light nearby interfering with the scan. This is an excellent device. No device drivers, just plug and scan, the bar code comes across just as if you had typed it in.
It's such a pleasure when something works exactly as advertised, and this is one of those items.

I love this!
This is great, having 2 electric cars (Bolt & Volt) on the showroom floor is kind of historic. The box, while cardboard, does look just like my local Chevrolet dealerships. Very nice.
