Saved an HP LaserJet 4 printer from the skip!
Very satisfactory purchase; solved a tricky repair problem.
Bought to repair an HP LaserJet 4. Based on the fault code displayed on the printer plus the guidance in the manual, I eventually proved that the d.c. controller and the motor pcb had both failed. Obtaining a replacement d.c. controller was a bit difficult, but finding a motor controller was very difficult. That was because I was looking for part number RH7-1151-000CN: not available. To me, it seemed that the part RH7-1152-000CN was a replacement module - so I bought one and fitted it: problem solved! So it is a suitable replacement.
The fact that this printer was designed for easy maintenance, plus the excellent HP manual, was a great help.

Report based on many hours of use.
"Is it compact?" Can't answer that question for the obvious reason: "Compact compared to what?" So it's a silly Q. Ditto "is it fast?"
Overall, quite happy with this item, but it is a shame that it has been based on the traditional style of Compaq PCs - which is totally non-standard. But compared to a P4 PC, yes, it is quiet - very quiet. I have no problems with the vendor at all - in fact, would buy from them again - and indeed have done so.

Excelleny quality product
Well made with a good quality hinge. So much better than others that are available at almost the same price. I anticipate that this tool will last for many years. Excellent value for money.
